Psychotherapy and Counseling

Children, Teens, Adults,
Couples, Family Systems

All our services begin with a mandatory consultation session. Psychotherapy sessions are administered for children and young teens utilizing a variety of therapy evidence-based interventions ranging from Parent-Child Interactive Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Arts, Laughter Therapy, Dancing Mindfulness, EMDR, Play Therapy, to Strategic & Structural Family Systems Therapies.

Psychotherapy sessions for adults may employ Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Strategic & Structural Family Systems Therapies, trauma-informed care, Cognitive Processing Therapy, EMDR, and may utilize multicultural considerations.

Patients, and or their medical decision-makers, who indicate clinical cause for needing suicide prevention treatment will also collaborate with the therapist to make a safety plan. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy modules may also be used to equip the patient with necessary skills and resources.

Please note, psychological counseling is a form of medical healthcare. Your clinician will provide medical advice on the frequency of your sessions in order to measure progress, and an educated hypothesis regarding how long it may take to achieve the prognosis desired. Sometimes, the process of psychotherapy can bring up a range of uncomfortable emotions and memories; this is normal during healing. Please discuss your symptoms with your provider so your treatment can continually be tailored to you. To achieve the best results from your investment in mental health services, it is advisable to follow the medical directives from your provider.

All therapy sessions are by appointment only, and fees are due at the time of service. Our private practice clinicians are out of network healthcare providers for psychotherapy and counseling services. We can provide the information beneficial for patients seeking reimbursement from their healthcare insurance plan. Out of pocket, individual, couples, and family sessions’ fees are $149 per hour. Most sessions are at least 45 minutes, but longer or shorter sessions are sometimes appropriate and are pro-rated accordingly. Couples and families can find that pro-rated longer sessions (such as 75, 90 or even 120 minutes) better facilitate meeting their session goals.
