Mindfulness is the first step towards increasing love for self, and accepting what we can and cannot change. The patient is not judged, and they are encouraged not to judge themselves. There are many ways to reach mindfulness.
At Counseling Care Circle, patients may experience moments of clinically integrated mindfulness through dance, art, music, prose, poetry, psychodrama, sand tray, or Gestalt therapy. According to the Institute of Mindfulness, there are seven primary areas of mindfulness in motion–or life: breath, sound, body, story, mind, spirit, and fusion of all the elements. When we practice mindfulness, we experience our self-healing potential and inner sense of all things becoming new.
Mindfulness is the spirit of coming exactly as you are, just as you are…. seeing and meeting the environment as it is.
