Ellice Y. Park earned a Masters at Methodist Theological School in Ohio in their CACREP-Accredited program, Pastoral Care & Clinical Counseling. She has specialized training in Art as Therapy, Expressive Arts, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Christian Counseling, Cognitive Processing Therapy, some modules of Gestalt Therapy. She is a certified Dance Mindfulness Facilitator, Laughter therapist, and EMDR therapist. She has experience working with children as young as 3 years of age, and individuals all through the lifespan. Ellice has worked with various human challenges including but not limited to anxiety, depression, dissociation, childhood sexual abuse, grief, infertility, divorce care, trauma, women’s issues, comorbidity, addiction, to name a few. Ellice enjoys working with tough challenges of trauma and dissociative features, and helping people become victorious with their internal worlds. She has worked in multiple settings before coming to private practice, including: prison, jail, church, schools, community mental health, in rural settings, and in the city. She is a full member of the American Counseling Association, the World Laughter Tour, the Institute for Mindfulness, Star Behavioral Health Providers, and EMDRIA.
